This week we are diving into the second pillar or EQ: Self-Management.
I share a section from the journal about a special technique that you can pull from your back-pocket, and apply anywhere you may need it.
Practicing self-management requires that we first become self-aware or recognize the need to regulate ourselves. See- the pillars really do build off one another!! The pyramid won’t lie!
Excited to have spent another 10 minutes of life with you,
K. Alexandra <3

I mentioned Tara Brach in today’s video. Click her name to view her book Radical Self-Acceptance.
Dear K. I loved having breakfast with you and August . As a bonus, I am feeling so much cheerier than just a few minutes ago!
I will go back and watch again with my journal in front of me.
You are the best!
Loved getting to see you (and August too - so adorable!) While I'm familar with Tara Brach, I hadn't heard of her RAIN technique. That is so helpful and I may start using it with my chaplaincy students and my kids.
